We have this little voice in our head that is constantly judging, evaluating, criticising, analysing and editorialising everything that we hear. The workforce is complicated and becoming even more so. Globalisation, technology, rampant regulation, multiple generations in the workplace, and competition are just a few of the contributing factors. Experts believe this may be the most complicated workforce we’ve ever seen; the result is floundering professionals, desperate for ways to improve their chances of upward mobility.

Theoretical learning, lectures, and knowledge sharing has its place in creating a foundational capability. However, to translate this to impact, one has to practice converting such knowledge to outcomes. This is where ‘do’ comes in. We tend to learn by doing. By observing others do. By personal experience. By practically teaching each other how to do. Quite simply, by doing.
